How long will the waxed area be hair-free?
After a week or so, you may notice little, sporadic hair growth. A waxing treatment can last for up to 3-4 weeks.
Can I still have a bikini wax when I’m on my period?
Of course! However, please wear a freshly-changed tampon before the treatment and thoroughly baby wipe the area. You are welcome to use the loo beforehand to freshen up.
Do I have to remove my underwear?
For the Bikini, Brazilian and Hollywood Lycon Hot Wax treatments, you will be required to remove your underwear. I provide disposable paper underwear for Bikini, Brazillian and Hollywood waxing using the roller strip wax system. You can also wear your own, if you prefer.
What is the difference between a Bikini, Brazillian and Hollywood wax?
Bikini: hair is removed from the top and sides of the bikini area. Brazillian: all hair is removed apart from a strip, thumb-print or small triangle at the front. Hair is also removed from in-between the buttocks. Hollywood: Everything off!
What after-care do I need to follow?
It is important that you keep the waxed area clean and avoid head and friction straight after the treatment. For 24 hours after your wax, please do the following: No hot baths or showers.
