Sterilisation of needles/instruments
- Only individual disposal or sterile needles/blades in sealed packaging must be used for each client.
- Clean instruments and sterile instrument packs should be placed in clean dry containers or stored in a cabinet to protect from dust and moisture.
- Each sterile instrument pack should be checked at the time of storage and before it’s used. If the pack is compromised, it should be discarded and replaced before use.
