Profhilo – Minimally invasive techniques for maximum results.
Profhilo is a new product on the market designed as an alternative for Skin Bio Armouring. It was created with specifically 30+ skin in mind and is a really amazing treatment for illuminating skin and lessening the appearance of wrinkles by hydrating the skin and replacing collagen in the face and neck.
With Profhilo there are five injection points on each side of the face; cheeks, jawline, cheekbones, nose and chin. These sites were inspired by traditional Chinese acupuncture techniques, and are commonly known as Biologically Active Points (BAP). These areas are completely safe for injection as they avoid the all-important arteries and glands in the face. There are also eight points of injection in the neck, four down towards collarbones and then three on each side with the last site of each side meeting in the middle like a triangle. These appointments normally last between ten minutes to half an hour depending on the number of sites the client would like treated. There is minimal pain or swelling during and after the appointment, and some people have compared the sensation to getting Anti-wrinkle. This means that clients won’t need numbing cream or to take the day off of work!
I would always recommend Profhilo to my clients who are not looking for a dramatic transformation and instead want a subtle hydrating effect. This product replenishes and lifts the face subtly in comparison with traditional filler. That is something that I really love about Profhilo – as it volumises so subtly and isn’t designed as a filler but instead as a rejuvenation technique, my clients often feel as though they have fresher and younger skin while still looking natural.
Results from Profhilo begin to appear after one week, and then after four weeks, you will be able to see the full result. With this product, it is recommended that the client comes back in for a booster session after the four weeks. Post booster, you can expect to see results for six months to a year depending on aftercare and lifestyle. For example, if you are a heavy smoker or drinker then results will fade quicker. This technique has a long payoff for my clients and is a real treat for people who want moisturised and hydrated skin.
