Project Description

Biorevitalisation/Skin boosters are the new, must-have treatments for noticeable Anti-ageing results!

With such excellent results, it’s no wonder that they are so popular. They revitalise the skin in a low-effort, effective way that helps you to reclaim and preserve your natural glow.

Botox and fillers can be great for some who are in need of more correction. However, many people just need that extra boost to recapture their youth. It may not be necessary to start Botox or fillers so soon. After all, starting too soon could lead to overuse of these procedures. That is likely to hide the natural beauty and character of your face!

Botox relaxes the facial muscle, softening lines and wrinkles. However, if overdone, can take away natural emotion and empathy we express through our eyes and smile. Fillers, can significantly volumise, improve sunken areas and sculpt the face, however, if they are not placed correctly or overused, can take away from your natural beauty, giving you the unwanted cushion-face look.

On the other hand, skin boosters are a fantastic middle ground. You can hold onto your youthful glow whilst still keeping that lovely character that is unique to you. They are nourishing and stimulating injectable anti-ageing treatments made from hyaluronic acids. That makes them perfect for skins that are losing elasticity and firmness with age.

You can use them just about anywhere, but they are especially useful for your face, neck, décolleté, hands, or any part of the body which is showing visible signs of ageing. You will see a noticeable improvement to the hydration, tone, firmness of the skin after just one treatment, as well as a significant softening of lines and wrinkles by stimulating fibroblast cells which produce collagen and elastin, which are both essential for firmness, volume, and elasticity.

If you’re up to date with your beauty lingo, you might have heard of Hyaluronic acid before. It is very well known as a “filler” and is usually used to give volume to lips or sculp and contour areas of the face such as cheek bones, jawline and chin.

However, skin boosters use Hyaluronic acid in a slightly different way. Due to the way they are structured, they can flow over extended areas of the skin to boost overall hydration and rejuvenate the skin.

How do Skin Boosters work?

Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally-occurring, clear, gooey substance produced in our body. The largest amounts are found in the skin, connective tissue, and the eyes. Its function is to retain water, keeping your tissues lubricated and moist and aiding collagen production. Hyaluronic acid is ideal for binding moisture in the skin as it can hold 1000 times its volume in water.

As we age, our production of hyaluronic acid slows down. This leads to the skin becoming dehydrated, forming lines and wrinkles, and appearing dull.

This is where skin boosters come in. They contain high concentrations of stabilised hyaluronic acids and amino acids, which are also the building blocks of collagen and elastin. The chosen booster is injected just under the surface of the skin where it quickly disperses and reacts with the skin to immediately boost hydration. Over the weeks following the treatment, the production of collagen and elastin is stimulated to rejuvenate the skin, resulting in a brighter, plumper, firmer and youthful appearance.

Due to the consistency of skin boosters, they distribute evenly through the skin without forming any lumps, which can sometimes be is a side effect of traditional fillers. The great news is, they can be used on areas that can be a little tricky to treat with traditional fillers, like the neck and forehead.

A slight stinging sensation is sometimes reported whilst the product is injected into the skin, but most clients find minimal discomfort.

Is it safe?

Yes, very safe as the products are hyaluronic acids and amino acids, there is nothing in the products to cause a reaction and do not cause any no long-term side effects as they are completely metabolised by the body.
